The twin-tower high-rise hotel rises from the earth and seems to blend into the sky, and pools and spas are scattered throughout the vast grounds. Resort stays can be enjoyed throughout the season, from the "UNKAI Terrace" in summer, where you can gaze at a sea of clouds, to the slopes in winter, where the real pleasure of powder snow is unforgettable.

Local Guide FAQ
- What do you recommend in the Tomamu area (places, experiences, food)?
Farm & Cafe Belize" in Ochiai, Minami Furano is recommended. It is open only during the summer season, and is like a hideaway tucked away in the woods. You can pick various berries by yourself and drink them as juice. The "paella" filled with seafood is especially delicious and highly recommended.
- Please sneak in some hole-in-the-wall places that you know because you live there.
The "Nakafurano Lavender Garden" is a slightly different lavender viewing spot in Furano, where you can take a ski lift to see the vivid lavenders spreading down the slope of the mountain. The contrast between the lavender, the townscape of Furano, and the blue sky on a clear day is very beautiful.
- Where did you travel to last year and with whom?
I went to Korea on a solo trip. My friend in Korea took me to recommended Korean restaurants and sightseeing spots, and I was able to have a very active trip.
- What do you do on your days off?
I spend my time researching and going out to eat, as there are so many delicious foods in Hokkaido.
- Is there anything you always take with you on a trip?
I bring my mirrorless single-lens reflex camera that I bought when I was a university student. It is nice to take pictures with my cell phone, but I enjoy taking pictures of beautiful scenery and food with my camera and looking back on them after returning from my trip.
