Takio shrine

At the mysterious shrine in the forest, test of luck

"Takio shrine" located in the place where about 1 km of mountain was climbed from Nikko Futarasan-jinja is Bekku of Nikko Futarasan-jinja. There is Parking near the entrance, so it's possible to go by car, but you'll wrap in the grove in the holy atmosphere, and I recommend to go on foot.

Mt. Nikko, Rinno-ji

Three cathedrals of Tendai Sect which continues from Nara era

It's located in the location of about 5 minutes on foot from Nikko Tosho-gu Shrine, "Mt. Nikko, Rinno-ji". The "three Buddhist sanctum" which is a large main hall is doing big repairing in about 50 after (current as of 2019). Repairing completion is scheduled for 2020 here.

Homotsuden and Shoyo Sono are in front of three Buddhist sanctum, and even a short time is the spot which tends to spread. It's possible to think the state which is being repaired to enter during three Buddhist sanctum.

When telling history of Mt. Nikko, necessary historical* is preserving something valuable artistically. Important cultural property is often exhibited including national treasure, so how about inspecting slowly?

Shoyo Sono (conceited, fascination)

"Shoyo Sono" of a Japanese garden by whom it was laid out in Edo early stage to neighbor Homotsuden. The garden of a migration way where you can walk an edge in a pond is also famous as a place famous for beautiful colored autumnal leaves while turning the eyes to amusement of the landscape and looking at a garden tree with a lot of kinds.

Lake Chuzen-ji Uenojima (ZUKEJIMA which misses).

The sacred place where an ancestor in Mt. Nikko beginning of the mountaineering season sleeps, I go and worship from a lakefront.

Circular Kojima who appears near the Lake Chuzen-ji southern coast in the inside Nikko and Uenojima (ZUKEJIMA which misses). There is a tomb where remains of an ancestor in Nikko Hirakiyama and Shoudou saint (Conceited, I was how conceited, oh.) were buried parts of, Mt. Nikko, it's one in the most important sacred place of Rinno-ji. It can't generally hit at present, and it's possible to feel virtue of the departed of a Lake Chuzen-ji sightseeing boat and the saint who completed a foundation of today's Nikko from a lake at the once's ship zen top (crucian carp Zen quire ※ mentioning) in a year and pray an island.

The "ship zen top" performed on August 4 every year (crucian carp Zen quire) makes a round of pilgrimages to a place by the lakefront on the saint relation by ship, the valuable event which continues for more than 1200 years. A memorial service ship sails on this day, and the ship which has arrived is also made "Uenojima", so it can be prayed slowly to the tomb from the ship top.

Urami NO fall (burning of a grudge)
