The Awamori Pub is located in a residential area of Yomitan Village. The menu includes such classic dishes as umi budou (sea grapes), sashimi of island goatfish, and bitter melon chanpuru, as well as more innovative dishes that transcend the boundaries of traditional Okinawan cuisine.
For example, the "UMIBUDO Somen Chanpuru with Yomogi Sauce" is inspired by a genovese sauce made with fresh basil, and is tossed with boiled somen noodles in a yomogi sauce and topped with umi budou. The serving dishes are all made by ceramic artists working in Yomitan Village.

This Restaurant has been in business for 38 years and is under the direct management of a fresh fish restaurant. The restaurant offers sashimi, fried fish, boiled fish, nigiri-zushi, and other dishes using the freshest seasonal fish.
You must order the "Sashimi Moritate" which includes 10 kinds of seasonal seafood such as Okinawa tuna, octopus, squid, white fish (meibai, swordfish, taman, michi, makubu, etc.), and salmon! In addition to the size for 3-4 people, there is a small size (1,540 yen) that is just right for 2 people, so you can order according to the number of people. The thickly sliced sashimi has a chewy texture and rich, sticky flavor.

This izakaya boasts dishes using seafood directly from the local Miyakoya Fishing Port and fish freshly caught from the restaurant's fish tank. The sashimi platter, which features five kinds of fresh fish, is a must-try. The contents change depending on the weather and the fisherman's mood, but on this day, the five types were tuna, bonito, gara, akajin meibai, and irabucha.
In spring, you can taste Spanish mackerel and tachiwai, in summer gara and gachun, and in colder weather, island octopus and sode-ika. And the classic Okinawan dish "Goya Chanpuru" is not to be missed.
